Whether you are looking to add something new to your workout regime or add a little extra punch to your mat practice, PYP’s Reformer Studio has you covered! Reformer Pilates is a fantastic workout that tones, lengthens, and strengthens your muscles without creating bulk while improving both flexibility and stability. Created by Joseph Pilates, the reformer uses spring resistance to add an extra element of challenge to traditional Pilates exercises. Focusing on core strength and controlled, flowing repetition of movements performed in conjunction with concentrated breathing, participants notice improved posture, heightened awareness of their bodies, and better co-ordination and balance. Each reformer Pilates session is designed to give you a total body workout that creates leaner muscles through a series of exercises that will challenge and energize you. By emphasizing proper alignment and form, Reformer Pilates will help you to build the core stability central to maintaining a healthy musculo-skeletal system.

PYP’s Reformer Studio includes 5 reformer machines available for group (3-5 people, semi-private (2 people), and private (one-to-one instruction) sessions. The inclusive studio offers clients unparalled instruction from highly trained professionals who are committed to helping clients feel and see the difference in their bodies as they practice reformer Pilates. With Pilates principles elegantly painted on the studio wall, you can fully indulge in your practice with a gentle reminder that through controlled movement and breath, you are lengthening and strengthening your muscles and working toward a confident, stronger, fitter you. PYP’s Reformer Studio brings you quality machinery, knowledgeable instructors, and a variety of session times throughout the week that will suit your schedule.
