POWER YOGA FLOW

This class is a flowing practice of sun salutations with powerful, standing poses, integrating a balance series and breath work. This is an invitation to drop within, to allow yourself to surrender in to any challenge on the mat as you would a challenging moment in your day-to-day life. You will be encouraged to meet yourself where you are today, striking a balance between your physical and emotional edge.

 

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Get your yoga zen on with this hour long physical yoga retreat. Restore your achey body with lengthening postures combined with strengthening asanas to deliver you a balanced yoga practice.

 

YIN YOGA

A Tuesday night reset for body, mind and spirit combining creative Restorative and Yin Yoga practices.  Yin Yoga targets the joints and deeper connective tissues to increase mobility (especially in the hips and spine), release tension, and bring the mind and body into balance.  Poses are held for 2-5 minutes with very little muscular engagement, supported by props and gentle guidance. Restorative/Yin is the perfect complement to more muscular (yang) styles of yoga and physical training, and offers a chance to slow down and release deeply into this quietly powerful, meditative yoga practice.

 

SLOW FLOW YOGA

A fusion of the philosophies of yoga including chakras, elements and the eight limbs of yoga. This practice emphasizes a strong connection to breath. Slow Flow is a meditation in motion, gliding you safely into postures, aligning mind, body and spirit for delightfully calming zen practice.

 

PYP AIR FLOW AERIAL YOGA

Take your yoga practice from the mat to the hammock in this amazing suspension experience. In this practice you will learn the proper way to get in to the hammock, all the necessary wraps, but most importantly you will have fun! Aerial yoga is a style of asana practice that blends yoga poses with aerial acrobatics. Sun salutations, warrior, bound angle, extended side angle, chair, downward dog, cat/cow, boat, pigeon, tree and savasana are some of the many yoga poses one can practice with the support of sturdy silk hammocks. Come experience the power of yoga flight!

An innovative class that begins with a dynamic warm up, into core conditioning. We progress into high-energy intervals of cardio sequences and then a set of 3 powerful movements to sculpt the legs, arms and core for 3 sets. Class then continues alternating between cardio and strength intervals. The number 3 becomes ever present and truly works your body to the edge. Challenging? Yes! Possible? Absolutely!

We work, intervals, team relays and power output elevating your ride to the next level.

 

PYP CYCLE BARRE

A 60 minute fusion of heart pumping PYP Cycle followed by the ballet inspired Barre class. A 30/30 split will be sure to challenge your cardio & core.

 

PYP FLOW RIDER

A 50 minute express cardio-core fusion designed to target your cardiovascular strength and core stability. 35 minutes of cycle followed by 15 minutes of ab-mazing core focused exercises!

PILATES REFORMER

 

PILATES REFORMER

Developed by Joseph Pilates, the machine strengthens, lengthens, tones and activates your deep powerhouse core muscles. This class is an education in body mechanics and a way to streamline, stretch and add overall balance and tone to our generally over worked bodies.

***Prerequisite for first-time Reformer participants requires one private reformer session for entry into group training.
