When is a good time to call the studio?

Call us anytime, but LEAVE A VOICEMAIL! If you leave a voicemail, you will generally get a response from the manager within an hour, as voicemails are emailed to the manager immediately.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

A bottle of water as proper hydration is key! (We have water fountains for easy refill or our very own PYP water for sale.)

Be sure to wear proper, comfortable fitness attire and if you are unsure of the “shoes vs. no shoes” for classes, be safe and bring your sneakers!

A yoga mat for all applicable classes (yoga, barre) Mats are available for rent to 10 Class Pass Holders, included with unlimited plans and a Drop-In pass.

WHAT KIND OF SHOES DO I WEAR FOR CYCLE?

Our Keiser indoor cycles have both regular pedals with cages (for sneakers) and 2 Bolt SPD clips for cycle cleats.

*Note:  We do not recommend “Free” shoes: e.g., Vibrams; Nike Free’s; or natural-fit shoes.  The harder the soul the better.

I AM NEW TO YOGA/FITNESS/CYCLE. WHERE DO I BEGIN?

If you are brand new to yoga and want to begin practicing we believe any of the Restorative Yoga practice is a great option to start your journey.

If it is fitness or cycle that is your fancy, then we recommend Barre or a PYP Cycle Class as a nice option to segue way into group exercise.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

We have a 12-hour cancellation policy. (Reformer Classes are 24 Hours)

If you are a 10 pass class card holder or a drop in, we ask that you kindly cancel the day before allowing for other exercise devotees or newbies to get in on the action!

10 CLASS PASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE TO FAMILY MEMBERS OR FRIENDS AND VALID FOR 6 MONTHS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE.

*If we have cancelled ANY class, you will not be charged.

WHAT DOES THE PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP ENTAIL?

The Unlimited Year and Unlimited Monthly Memberships are a year-long contract that is paid monthly for 12 months or you can pay up-front for the entire year at a discounted rate.

The student membership will run through the spring with the final payment in May.

We are able to suspend contracts due to injury with a doctor’s note.

WHY DOESN’T A CLASS HAVE A “SIGN UP“ BUTTON?” This occurs for two reasons:

The class is beginning in less than thirty minutes and our online registration for classes closes thirty minutes prior to the start of a class.  However, you can still come to the studio and sign up for the class (if space is available).

Virtual “At Home” class sign ups close at 9PM the day before the class. Sign up by 9 PM the day prior, the link will be emailed between 9 and 10, and you will have access to the class until 9PM the day of the class.

OR

Both the class and the wait list are currently full.

We recommend signing up as early as possible in order to secure your spot in a class.

 

I AM ON THE WAIT LIST FOR A CLASS. HOW WILL I BE CONTACTED IF I AM ADDED TO THE CLASS?

Our online MindBody class registration system generates an email to notify you up until 12 hours before. After the 12 hour mark, it is manually managed by the instructor and you will hear from them directly via email or text.  You must insure that you have selected “Yes” to receive emails within your account to receive automated messages.

WHAT IF I HAVE AN EMERGENCY AND CAN NOT CANCEL A CLASS PRIOR TO 12 HOURS?

Please email or call the studio (and leave a message) the day of your scheduled class and you will not be charged.

Please no personal belongings including cell phones in studio and cycle classes.

Please no cycle cleats outside of the cycle room.

If you wear your cycle cleats or sneakers outdoors, please be sure they are free from loose dirt and mud before entering the cycle room.

WHAT BUS LINES PROVIDE SERVICE TO THE STUDIO?

HP and B – drop off at CVS and pick up at IHOP.

I AM A PYP MEMBER WITH NO PENALTY FOR LATE CANCELLATION, SHOULD I LATE CANCEL IF I KNOW I CAN NOT ATTEND A CLASS?

Yes.  As many of our classes fill and/or have a wait list, we ask that ALL clients cancel a class if they do not plan to attend.

I PURCHASED AN ITEM FROM THE BOUTIQUE, CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE IT?

All boutique purchases are for exchange or credit only.

CAN I ARRIVE LATE TO A CLASS?

Entering a class late is up to the instructor’s discretion based on the class and your arrival time. If a class is full and we have a stand-by client waiting, your spot may be given away if you are more than 2 minutes late. We recommend calling or emailing in advance if possible so we can hold your reservation should you anticipate arriving more than 2 minutes late.
