As we all know, indoor cycling is a great way to get some pedal strokes in while the weather is less than ideal. Maybe you only cycle indoors during the winter due to the lack of daylight, or the cold temperatures, but regardless of what your reason is, there are some undeniable benefits for cyclists to rotate indoor cycling classes in year round with their outdoor rides. What might those be you ask?

First off, when you are out on the road, let’s face it, it’s a jungle out there! Cars, dogs, deer, tire treads, uneven roads, potholes, runners, need I go on? What happens when the snow and cinders hit the streets? Concentrating on strengthening certain muscles can end up taking a back seat to staying alive!

All those things aside, how much time riding out on the road do you really get to say ‘OK, I am going to take the next 10 minutes and climb up this hill, and really focus on my quad muscles and pulling technique.’ Maybe once in a while, but distractions happen, and there goes your workout. Are you going to ride back down and try it again? My guess is no.

So in short, identify your weaknesses out on the road, and come inside to overcome them. Our instructors will give you that drill to work on each muscle group, and really strengthen you for the real world. You can’t find a safer, more focused environment to get stronger. The pumped up music and team environment will motivate you to get the most out of yourself. Come check it out, but be warned, it’s addicting!!!!!![/vc_wp_text]
